Citrus Art and Mayan Masks. Fifth graders practiced tint, tone and shade as they created a piece of citrus fruit using tempera paint. After sketching their fruit they mixed paint to create the value of a real piece of fruit.
The Mayan Masks following the study of the Aztec, Mayan and Inca cultures. These masks were created through a directed draw and then colored in with oil pastel and baby oil. Can't wait to see them finished!
